In
2003 an astonishing 69% of 4th graders tested in the
United States scored at or below basic skills in reading.
There was no significant change in 2005. *
Now
image if our children learned to speak, read, and
think at a young age. Imagine if our children developed
a keen sense of curiosity and creativity. Imagine
if our children were engaged in fun and meaningful
learning experiences. Imagine if our children learned
right from the start that their contribution will
make a difference. Imagine if parents and teachers
had the tools and materials they needed to successfully
teach. Imagine if technology was used with purpose
and direction. Imagine if all children had the opportunity
to excel. Imagine if all children loved to learn.
Imagine iKnow Animals, Letters, and
Sounds.
iKnow
is an interactive system to teach children to read
with purpose and make a difference for animals and
the environment. iKnow Animals, Letters,
and Sounds starts at the beginning and is the first
in a series to teach children to speak, read, and
think. The iKnow interactive system
includes DVDs, music,
books, trading cards, online
community, and activities for children and parents
to do together anytime anywhere. Children interact
with the content and objectives in different ways,
at different times, in different settings, using different
media.
Follow
the iKnow system and your child will learn and discover:
Letter recognition shape and sound, rhyming, segmentation,
phonemic awareness, animals from Rain forest, Africa
and the San Diego Zoo, and preservation
and conservation of animals and the environment.
Each
product serves a particular purpose in the teaching
and learning process.
